The balcony. A must when selecting a cruise for a vacation. Why? There are many reasons, but my favorite – the sunset.
On my most recent cruise, the ten day Panama Canal Sunfarer, I only watched the sunset on land once. It was the sunset on Eagle Beach in Aruba. So for nine nights I watched the moment from aboard the Holland America ms Zuiderdam. And where better to watch the moment then toasting the sun and sea in your private balcony.

Sure, the cruise ship sets course in a new direction each day. The itinerary along with being on the port or starboard side will create a different view each evening. But, I suspect you’ll enjoy the sunset from each and every direction. I did. Happy Sunset Sunday.
