I climbed up for the best view
I often wonder why major resorts build on beaches without a view of a sunset. It would be one of my “requirements.” However, after my first walk on the soft sands of the beaches at the Grand Palladium Resort in Punta Cana I was reminded of another important requirement – a beautiful beach location.
One evening during my stay, after I properly raided my mini-bar for a bottle of Coke to mix with my local rum, I decided to head back to the beach. I wanted to see if any colorful lights or streaks in the sky might still make a great sunset image.
On the nearly empty beach I headed over to the lifeguard stand and climbed up. I waited for the best moment.
In the stand, I realized I might not capture the best sunset image of my collection, but that I certainly created another great moment in my search for sunsets. Yes, another sunset moment.
