Episode 18 – South Padre Island, Where Mañanaville Meets Margaritaville

Originally, I made plans to visit South Padre Island for spring break years ago. Plans shifted and we traveled elsewhere, but South Padre Island always intrigued and I finally just recently made my way and visited the Gulf of Mexico island destination for episode 18 – Exploring South Padre Island, Texas. What did I find on the other side of the causeway bridge from the mainland?

Would I find spring break in the summer? Would I want to cross the border and get into Mexico, a country I love?

No, I discovered a great destination, a wonderful beach and a place filled with many activities for visitors of all ages to appreciate. I found the place where “Mañanaville meets Margaritaville.”

Staying Adventurous Episode 18

Listen in as I explore the island, interview many of the locals including;  the CVB Director, a local bagel shop owner, people working with the Sea Turtle Inc and the Osprey Dolphin Cruise, and a new friend met over late night Karoke. I’m so happy you didn’t cross the border. So much to see and do in SPI. It’s a great family destination, especially in the summer. Spring break is legendary, but only needs to be experienced once. :-)
