As we approach fall, some of us dream of following the sun for an Endless Summer. But more important than just staying in summer is taking a trip allows you to essentially enjoy the outside every day with a chance to be in the sun. It is life changing on many levels and the book Following the Sun – Tales and Fails From A Year Around the World With Our Kids highlights such an opportunity taken with kids by a very “successful” family living and working in NYC.
In this episode I interview the author, Margaret Bensfield Sullivan, about the recent trip that she and her husband took with their two kids (4 & 6) around the world for one year. Inside the podcast you’ll appreciate the interview with the author about the life changing journey, my top 3 takeaways from the book, the Staying Adventurous Mindset Moment, and also discover a few lessons I learned from some of my travel sabbaticals sprinkled in too.
Enjoy the listen and I also recommend reading the book, as you’ll discovered it moved me more than once.
