Just last September I surfed the shores of Hawaii visiting both beaches of Waikiki and the iconic North Shore on the island of Oahu. I paddled out a few times when I visited Hawaii, my 50th state on my 50th birthday. And I loved every session.
I loved surfing for years. Once I took my first lessons in San Diego nearly 25 years ago I found myself in the ocean I knew it would be a part of my life forever. I felt at home and happy in the surf culture. Today, I don’t get to surf nearly enough and that’s why I loved Jigsaw Surf Co, and the surfboard puzzles create.
What I like about Jigsaw Surf Co Puzzles
As a surfer, I care about the environment and it’s great to know the company does too. Each puzzle is packaged in an eco-conscious manner and made from recycled paper, using soy-based ink. Plus, the Jigsaw Surf co donates a portion of every purchase to myPeak Foundation, which promotes mental health through surf programs.
What I love about Jigsaw Surf Co Puzzles
Some great design options are available. There’s so many different colors from the sunsets to aloha to and mosaics. I chose this beautiful blue to match the skies and seas where I live here in the Florida Keys.
What else I love about the surfboard puzzle
I love the puzzle size, it is perfect to work together with a partner or family or even to tackle solo too. And then upon completion it is the perfect size to hang up with a nice frame on the wall. Every puzzle comes with specialized wax (puzzle glue), proving the surfboard the immediate opportunity to grace a wall inside your house or office. I plan to put mine up in my office (or maybe hallway). Well that’s the goal once its completed.
What else to know?
The difficulty level on this puzzle is higher than average. I’m no professional “puzzler” and I don’t do puzzles too often but I did work on this one with my mom and she is quite the pro. So, when she says the puzzle is difficult, I trust it. It’s not just the design and colored, but the size and cuts of the puzzle pieces that create the great challenge.
For some this can be something to love, for others, well it is something to know.
Where can I find these surfboard puzzles?
You can find the Jigsaw Surf Co online and the retail cost of a puzzle is $38.
Also you’ll find a picture of mine, once it’s completed, on my Instagram soon. If you’re not following, please do it is @Stay Adventurous. You may ask when? Well, expect completion by the end of the year. I’m not sure when I’ll have the dedicated time to make it happen, because it will be an effort.
stay surfing, Craig
