I never thought I’d be involved with the beach photos, but when I dressed up in a traditional Scottish Kilt at a wedding on the Isle of Arran, I was automatically put into the van. It is a tradition in Scotland. All men brave enough to wear a kilt at a wedding get photographed.
I am not sure if the beach was named Brodick Beach, Cladach Beach or perhaps even another name. I was just thrilled to be along for the ride; to be part of the adventure. Plus, at this stage I already started another Scottish Wedding Tradition – yes, I already had a drink (or two). However, I do remember access to the beach was just a few minute drive from the Auchrannie Resort.
I’ll always cherish being a part of this moment. It was beyond special, not to mention wearing a Kilt was an adventure in itself.
When people think of a romantic beach setting, many imagine palm trees, cocktails or maybe champagne and warm tropical weather. But I imagine my friends now picture this beach too. Happy Valentine’s Day.
stay romantic, Craig
