Sometimes we need to feel joy. We need to stop pedaling in circles, lift our feet and just feel alive, feel happy; sometimes we need to feel the joy of our journey.
In the systematic city of Singapore one can take refuge in the city’s oasis, the Singapore Botanic Gardens. On the garden grounds, one of Singapore’s main attractions (one expected to be crowned Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage site), visitors walk among the peaceful landscapes and can recharge in nature. One afternoon, on my escape, I stopped at this sculpture of a young girl with her legs lifted free of the pedals in joyful abandon. It just made me smile. Sounds like a plan, doesn’t it?
Stay adventurous, Craig
