Kenya remains on my bucket list as a travel destination for its magical migration and its amazing wild sunsets. When discussing it with my friends at Acacia Africa they decided to share a little about the country and located some special sunsets from Magical Kenya to share. It is apparently why they love Kenya ( #WhyILoveKenya)
With some of best safari experiences in Africa, especially the annual migration in Masai Mara from July to October, Kenya delivers as an incredible animal viewing destination. On the famous migration over a million wildebeest, zebra and antelope make their journey crossing the perilous crocodile infested Mara river to find their reward on the plains of one of the world’s best loved game reserves. Yet, Kenya or the migration it is not just about following the animals, but about experiencing the essence of Africa in the wild. And there is no better time then when watching a sunset.
Kenya puts on some of the most spellbinding sunsets in Africa – hues of yellow, orange, purple and red illuminate the skies and its magnificent mammals silhouetted against these colourful backdrops create amazing images as well as amazing memories.
Sunsets are a year round phenomena (it is one reason why Stay Adventurous loves them) and Kenya’s sunsets will be glorious at any time of year, so don’t dismiss green season. Running from December to May, the once sparse brown bush turns green and lush, the babies arrive along with the migrant birds, and the swathes of cloud make the sunsets surreal.

Special thanks for Acacia Africa for helping to complete the Sunset Sunday Map by providing an image from Africa and specifically Kenya.
