Viking Cruises, the popular river cruise company recently launched itself into the ocean liner industry and, the Viking Star, just christened in 2015 is now in the Americas entertaining a Caribbean cruise itinerary from its base in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

After its historic voyage, following the footsteps (or really the wake) of famous viking explore Leif Erikson to the Americas over 1000 years ago, the Viking Star made way to New York City for a four day passage at sea to its new home in Puerto Rico. I boarded in New York and experienced (and enjoyed) my first ever Viking Cruise and captured my thoughts in this month’s podcast. Listen in and enjoy.
