Cyber-Shop to Support the Florida Keys this Holiday Season

Another way to shop (and help) in the holiday season is to shop locally. It is always great to support local shops, and now you can also support the local shops in places on the road to recovery thanks to the internet.  Many places have been hit by life changing events in recent months. Donations, especially in this time of giving, are extremely helpful and so is supporting  those who are brushing off the dust and reopening their businesses and helping to rebuild their communities.

Shop the Florida Keys and Support its Road to Recovery

I discovered a facebook group “Shop Florida Keys Online” listing all the stores open for business in an effort to allow visitors and locals the chance to shop the Florida Keys. I decided to take that list and visit each of the 100+ listed business websites to determine if you can purchase items online and add them to cart to have them shipped  and delivered to you.  My initial pass came up with the list below and I sorted it by a category (one I created). The loose categories can give those shopping and easier way to find something on their list.

Many artists call the Florida Keys home, and a handful have set up shops on line from paintings to painted glasses to engraved wood, pottery and plenty specific island style pieces. There is plenty to choose from on this list.
