Dropped off at Victoria and Alfred’s Waterfront in Cape Town, we had 90 minutes for lunch. Our guide gave recommendations from the fast and cheap (this meal was not included as part of the tour) to the elegant and elaborate. We selected the latter, and I am glad we did.
Four of us left the herd and treated ourselves. We decided on seafood, white wine, and a view. We decided on one of the Waterfornt’s best – Bahia.
Delicious.
Tip: Sometimes you need to treat yourself to the best and that is what we did at Bahia. To make it even more special and not as costly, we ordered multiple appetizers to share. It was a great way to taste multiple dishes, usually some of the restaurant’s best, and allow us to spend more on the wine.
Stay adventurous, Craig
