With the coveted SPG status, late afternoon meant happy hour at the Sheraton Grande Laguna Beach. The luxury resort located on the island of Phuket in Thailand provided its platinum patrons complimentary cocktails and delicious appetizers nightly.
The hour always made set the mood and provided the perfect aperitif for the evening ahead. After creating the ‘I’m on vacation and love it mood” or translation, taking in a few cocktails, it was down to the beach to enjoy the countdown to the day’s descent, the sunset.
Every night a different show, but all wonderful. Ah, my time at the Sheraton in Phuket provided needed rest and relaxation, and also a few great sunset moments. Here is a look at two different nights.

Travel Tip: If you belong to hotel status programs and ever receive its top status (e.g. platinum for SPG) consider it the time to book your overseas Asian holiday. The service and amenities will exceed your expectations.
